In 2007, the Rosalynn Carter Institute for Caregiving in cooperation with Johnson and Johnson launched a national network of community, policy and research leaders committed to improving the quality of supports available to family caregivers. The National Quality Caregiving Network (NQCN) seeks to link researchers and agency leaders together as partners in implementing evidence-based programs for family caregivers. NQCN also will provide a wide range of technical assistance and faculty resources to implementation sites.
The NQCN includes all current RCI/J&J sites, the Veterans Administration Sites implementing REACH II, Administration on Aging evidence-based grantees, and any others who are actively engaged in making evidence-
based program for caregivers more widely available.
NQCN Goals:
To better coordinate resources available for the implementation of caregiver EBPs such as conferences and training
To serve as a repository for current research and research updates on EBP implementation
To facilitate matching of communities with program developers
To establish guidelines and best practices for EBP implementation with caregivers
